Adventures in Cougartown....

Thursday, March 28, 2013

Found out the latest boytoy is actually 27, not 28. He was rounding up because his birthday is in April. He's kind of wild and playful and immature for his age. I can be that way too but I also know when it's time to act like a grown up. He hasn't been properly hometrained as we say down here. He's so infatuated I compare him to a puppy with a new chew toy. Good grief we have fun, then he does something stupid so I throw him out, then he apoligizes and starts with the lovey dovey talk mixed in with some phone sex and off we go again!! I am too old for this. I told him he can't stay with me all the time because I need to work out and stay within my eating plan. He doesn't understand this since he works construction and only weighs 153lbs! I weigh about 13 more pounds than him! He's hispanic (I'm half hispanic) and has two broken front teeth and keeps his hair really really short so he looks like most other hispanic guys his age have baby mommas and grew up on the wrong side of town. He has a beautiful heart and soul however and loves his family. He is very protective of me and my youngest at home. He says even if I marry someone else that if they ever hurt me he will come after them. I keep trying to stay away from him but I'm just about as smitten with him as he is with me. What is happening to me?? At least he distracts me from my work problems.
I just found out my old bosses job, which I was hoping to get, has been eliminated. I was afraid of that since we're not doing that wonderful budget wise. Oh well, now I have to do all the work without the extra authority or pay. They even want me to create new programs. ugh You can see why I want to escape for play time. Tomorrow I'm going to a Zumbathon which will really up my fitness minutes and I will NOT miss zumba on Saturday morning. I hate having those extra pounds creep back on.

Reminds me of days after the big D with hubby #1, man did them times make for some great stories. I would say have your fun but don't get attached if you don't see things working out for a long time. I would agree about not letting him stay with you because that can give the wrong image to your child that is still at home. I used to date only when my daughter was not home (that is bringing them home only on those nights. LOL)
