I took five of my ladies for a 30 minutes power walk at lunchtime today. It was so cold that we all kept up a fast pace. It was good to get out, and it is a great way of stress-busting.
Then, as soon as I got home this evening, I put my running gear on and went for a 5k run that was a PB at 37 minutes. A minute faster than my previous PB.
It meant I clocked up 12000 steps today.
Sometimes I've been as low as 2000 when I have been so busy at work that I've hardly left my desk all day, and was too exhausted to move in the evenings. That's a thing of the past.
