Oh boy this week has been different to say the least. Sunday night we once again had snow so my "winter blues" returned for the two days it took for the snow to melt. Now thankfully the sun has showed its face once again but the wind here has been very strong and challenging. If only there were a magical pill to defend against the winter blues, am I right? This week I have run one day in total on Tuesday which was 3.80 miles in total. It felt great to get out there again and run with the husband. I love running with him and in a little sunshine! It's always nice to sweat it out. Looking towards this next week we are supposed to have at least 50F and some sunshine (I think I know what that still is) which is really going to help.
Okay, my whining is over now. (I think, unless you want more because I can go on for hours! haha)
So even though I haven't been running as much I have been walking the pup every morning there is no snow on the ground. She is a cavalier king charles and doesn't like snow like her momma. She will literally look out an open door and turn around and run back into the house. But, I have forced her to walk Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday for at least 1.40 miles each time (30-40mins each).
Food wise I have been making tons of healthy "hippie bowls" as I like to call them. Basically a hippie bowl is when you toss in a lot of healthy loved ingredients and let them make a wonderful dish together. Mmmm Here's my hippie bowls lately.
