It's been a long time since I blogged but here goes.
I am a part of a fitness challenge this month with the goal of getting more fit (obviously) but also keeping my weight loss on track. I find that joining SparkPeople challenges helps me push myself just that extra bit farther. Whether it is making sure I log everything everyday or drink those 8 cups of water or do that 20 minutes of exercise.
I have not been active in a number of months, falling off the wagon shortly before the holidays. However, I finally got tired of those numbers going up and I am (once again) committed to them moving downwards.
I have started working out 5 days a week consistently. I have a gym membership through work and it's awesome. I added strength training into my repertoire and I can already tell the difference. I am tracking my food again and asking advice from some of my instructors on my eating habits. I am taking it all in and trying to see what works with my life and diet.
One step at a time.
