Round 2 Cura Romana and dumbfounded

Thursday, March 28, 2013

Although I haven't completed six weeks of Consolidation, I have embarked on round 2 of Cura Romana. I kind of got my schedules mixed up and decided that I did want to make a good start on Round 2 while I am on holiday. That way if I feel any weakness or ill effects, I am dealing with them out of the work environment, by having a wee lie down if I want to, or an Epsom salts bath.
And I can make my staycation like a spa holiday.
So I am exercising daily, unless I want to have a rest day with a book, and doing the things I love best, in the comfort of my own home.
I was a bit worried that maybe it wouldn't work so well, on account of not having finished consolidation, and being a little close to my last round, but I am still on my first week in day 5 and I have released three kilos so far, so I seem to be on track.
Sparkies it feels quite powerful to have a method of losing weight that I expect to work pretty much on schedule.
Also a little dumbfounding.
Wish me luck as I wave those kilos goodbye!

I love the term "released" instead of "lost" for the disappearing weight. "Released" makes it sound like you are setting it free to find its own destiny, whereas "lost" makes it seem like you might find it again. (Heaven forbid you go looking for it! I think you might find it in the bakery department or potato chip isle of the grocery store.) Congratulations on your great progress! emoticon
