My children & I are getting creative with eggs this weekend!
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Here are a few of our ideas::::.....

First a link from our Fav grocery store: HEB! They have cool ideas to share.

We usually dye our hard boiled eggs, and make funny animals out of them.

Sometimes, we add salt to our eggs to create "bursts" of color.....:::just like you would use in a watercolor painting.

I have never tried these ideas....truly creative! Check this link out!

I take that back...:::I have used pressed flowers before. emoticon

I think my favorite idea is this: Decoupaged springtime eggs:::...so bright & cheerful!

How about you? Do you have any tips for egg crafts? emoticon

Okay..::i just fell in love with MAMASUDS creative tye-dye and crayola egg ideas...::::so here's her links! Thank you MAMASUDS! emoticon

You do so many creative things with your kids!! Around here it is very hard to get them (the grands) to do some things because of the age differences. But I love all your ideas!!!

Very fun Laura and beautiful. I also saw something fun on Pinterest of course where they boiled the eggs, shelled them and then died just the whites and made deviled eggs and so the yokes went into colored sections for serving. Very colorful for serving. So many creative ideas out there anymore. I'm sure you and the kids had a great time.

Thanks for sharing!!!

i donīt do easter anymore now i am muslim but when we were kids we used to make victoian marble dying eggs.what you do is boil the egg.then crack the shell all over.leave the shell on the egg though maybe taking out an odd chip her and there then soak them over night in cold black tea or beetroot juice(that is the victorian way)or now a days can use food colouring i like the blue or greem best if you have a blue or green willow dinner service.then in the morning take the shell off and you are left with a marbel look egg.the colour has seeped through the cracks.just have to make sure there is not too many cracks that it all blends together.if you try it let me know how it goes.happy easter love. emoticon

We no longer have children close by to do this, but it was fun just looking at the photos and seeing what can be done! Thanks!

Very creative ideas for eggs. We never tried anything like that when I was a kid lol Nor did I for my 2. I just got the die and put it in cups and sometimes we would dip them in several colors or wrap them in the plastic decorations that were in the box of dye. lol But they were more interested in the candy anyway!!!

I don't have a creative bone in my body.. But I love easter time because no matter what you do to the egg.. Well, i've ever seen an ugly easter egg. :) Just like halloween, once you put the candle in the jack-o-lantern, it looks awesome. :)
