My daughter brought home this story a couple of weeks back and I just loved it!
The text on the picture says: "There once was a tiger who grew wings. He didn't know what to do with them. So he flew."
This brings to mind how many of us are growing wings in this journey. We may not know what to do with them, but in the end we'll do what's natural to one with wings.
It may take some time to grow those wings and it may take less time than you think. You may struggle with your new wings for a while, but one day you'll find flying the natural thing to do with your wings and forget what it was like to not have wings.
You may be just starting to grow those wings, you may just be starting to exercise and just starting to change your eating habits.
You might have your wings established, but are not flapping them yet, you may be getting used to tracking or getting into a habit of taking a daily walk or going to the gym.
We all will eventually be at the point of flying, we will have established new habits and it's a no brainer to do the healthy things at this point.
So be that tiger! No matter where we are at wing growth, we can still find our inner growl and get it going!
