So many reasons to eat organic. The store I work at, Nutrition Plus, has just started selling organic product. Doing a shopping trip before I start work today!

Yup and it really sucks for ppl who just can't afford organic. It should be illegal for them to poison our food. OR our water...

I read the Monsanto article. Scary stuff on products that are all over the place. The company policies have often been not life friendly. They talked about Round Up products too which I have used for years to help control the poison ivy which can grow in large areas around here. I read the honey article too (no honey in many store products labeled honey) and book marked the site. I will pass it on.

    Thx Wolfie!

I buy organic then soak all my veggies in water to which I've dissolved some vitamin C to get rid of the Chlorine and Chloramines. I bought a big stainless steel bowl just for this purpose.

Prolly doesn't get much other than bacteria and dirt of my produce, but it does up the vitamin C content of my veggies.

When I was little my parents did the white carnation thing with me... pointed out how the veins were the thing that got colored first... so I got an education in plant vasculature, at the same time! ha
