my last entry was so up and full of energy... in the last couple weeks i have slid significantly. the OA has flared and most days i am in a lot of pain. i still do yoga daily and take Sitka out for an hour. most of it has been snowshoeing. but i find by mid-afternoon all i want is to get off my feet. i also notice my eating has increased and eating for pleasure like it will soothe the pain.
today my focus is to come here daily and to make sure i am meeting requirements for an anti-inflammatory eating plan. still hoping i won't have to go gluten free, but i recognize i need to cut back on bread. it has been a joy to bake bread. why can't something i love to do be good for me?!
we don't go out to eat. we eat mostly organic and nothing or very little processed foods.
i am doing oil-pulling, an ayurvedic treatment with no evidence of improvement, but i will keep it up for awhile. i need to increase supplements. got the fish oil back in. going to pick up so CoQ10. trying to cut down on the NSAIDS.
as the snow melts, i am excited to work in the yard. so i have to get more weight off so my feet can support me. still holding steady and i look forward to breaking through into the 140s.
my days are so full, i just need to make the time for SP. i do better when i am logging and blogging.

•whole wheat tortilla with cowboy caviar and cheese, glass of shiraz
housecleaning, snowshoeing and yoga
