Whos Business

Thursday, March 28, 2013

I read this " decided to let God be God" in one of my emails this morning a wanted to get it on paper before I forgot how meaningful that little statement is. When I think people should do or be different than they are "whos business am I in" (a favorite Katie Byron statement) . I am surly not in my business!! I can only change me and boy am I finding that to be a lot of work (well worth it but a lot of work) So I am either in their business or gods or a combination of the two, either way it is not mine to control, it is not mine to fix, and guess what Jane its not even your to say or think it should be a different than it is. I not know and or control the big plan we are all here to learn what and how we learn is gods business. Today goal listen to the shoulds I say about other people , their situations and their decision on how to live their life .... than stop breath and Decided to let God be God.

Thank you for reminding me of what matters most. God really is quite good at handling all the messes we get into with our oversized egos. emoticon

emoticon It's a big lesson to learn and I feel like I have been in a crash course this year. It is a lot better when I turn the spotlight on myself and let others ( like my kids) make their own choices-even if I 'know' my way would be better-lol. Seriously,it does make a huge difference in relationships and my outlook on life. No more "You shoulds" is my goal.
