Casey Wilson had been a member of the ensemble cast of Saturday Night Live for two years, when she was surprisingly let go just before the beginning of the 2009–10 season. Why? According to rumors from insiders at SNL, Wilson was ordered to lose 30 pounds … or else. One of the new cast members that season was a more svelte comedian named Jenny Slate, who, during her first on-camera appearance, said the F-word on live TV. (Slate was fired at the end of the year.)
