I'm feeling a little guilty this morning. I didn't get on the treadmill at 4:30, decided to sleep until 5am. I know I needed that extra 30 minutes of sleep. I'm still tired though. I will sit on my exercise ball at work today to help make up for the exercise I missed. Sitting on the ball at my desk helps with my core muscles, so even though it's not aerobic like the treadmill, it still helps.
I went shopping after work yesterday, picked up candy for Easter, and the Easter ham. I also cooked the eggs so we can color them tonight. I'm not sure how it will work coloring eggs with a 2 year old, but it should be interesting. She and her daddy will do them tomorrow, so by then she should know what she is doing!
Weight Watchers meeting at noon today, and I am looking forward to going. Next week I will celebrate the 7th anniversary of reaching my goal weight. I haven't been at goal for the whole 7 years, in fact I spent 2 years trying to get back to goal weight, but not trying very hard. I was anywhere from 5-15 pounds over. I am proud to say that I'm back to my healthy weight, and haven't had to pay for a weight watchers meeting or my e-tools since September. I don't plan on ever going back to having to pay for weight watchers unless they change their program for lifetime members!
Counting down the hours until my weekend starts.....10 regular hours, 8 working hours until my weekend starts. I can't wait!!!!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ WW Meeting and WI at lunchtime
~ color Easter Eggs with dgd after work
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
