"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."

I never would've dreamed it, but it does take courage to pursue this SP journey. In the beginning you think you know what you're getting when you begin eating healthy meals & working out....but then, it just turns into so much more. Things you never expected. People asking you if you're OK....my goodness how MUCH have you lost?!?!? They hope you're not sick. I had no idea when I started this just how much things would change. I only thought I was going to lose some weight....but it's been a complete metamorphosis. All for the best and it's all good. Thank you SP!!

Had a great day but the buzzer just sounded! Totally out of time. Did get a nasty calf injury today. Ugh.... Jetta can be more than a little bit dog aggressive. She saw the neighbor's dog and went nuts. Spinning, barking, going crazy. I kept moving her along to get out of there and she came up behind me and hit me HARD with her face into my calf. It felt like someone took the broadside of a hammer and smacked me HARD in the calf. I limped for 10 min. after that but continued to walk on with her for about 90 more min. Thought I could walk it out. Ha! After the cardio walking was done it began to really hurt. Still hurts now. I'm headed for a hot bath to give it a good soak.

Thanks for stopping by today if you had time. Hope your Wednesday was great!! emoticon

Good thing Jetta has such a caring and patient trainer. I have seen what a lesser person would do to a dog that reacted that way. Not pretty.

Because of my size and medical glitches....I lost 14.8 pounds in 1 week and then 6.2 pounds in 1 week very close together. You and I know that it was water weight and that weight can fluctuate quickly. It's the whole picture....but I immedietely was approached and warned about starvation dieting..(I stay around 1400 calories/day) and excessive fluid intake (I drink from 8-16 glasses daily...mostly water). The people
'counseling' me don't blink an eye at the folks who have the surgeries ..... but ...we'll see. Be well and blessed and keep Sparkin'!!

OH my gosh! So sorry that happened. **SIGH** My Spot is a little dog (Shih-Tzu and poodle mix) but boy, when he decides he's agitated, he's AGITATED!

I just kept nodding my head @ the comments you referred to! "How much weight have you lost?? Are you sick? Have you intentionally lost weight?" On it goes! But after awhile when those around you get USED to the new healthy you, it isn't as constant. I know in my family they were used to seeing the "old" me for so many years, and the changes took awhile for them to get used to.

HUGS and ice that poor calf! Hope it feels better today.

The transformation to a new you may have caught others offguard but you are doing fantastic. Hope the calf is better today. Take care and enjoy the benefits of all your hard work. HUGS!
