Well in the run up to one of my best friend's wedding, as the Matron of Honor I took on too much and was so busy I fell into my old ways. I went back to drinking soda, and wasn't working out as much as I should. I have found that once I start I'm back on the sauce for at least a week because when I come off of soda I get lethargic and can't get up for work in the morning. The worst thing is that if I drink too much caffeine I get Ocular Migraines. (It blurs out a portion of my vision for up to 10 minutes) So I have made a commitment to myself that as of Friday morning no more soda.
On a positive note I discovered a way to make walking/working out fun and interesting. It's called Geocaching and it's a real life treasure hunt. So we park a mile or so away from a GPS coordinate where we know a cach is and walk to it. It is so much fun and makes our walk far more interesting. If you're interested check it out at
