I think I went overboard with candy for my sister's Easter basket!

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

Each year my sister & I exchange Easter Baskets. I just went to the store and came back with a heck of a lot of Easter chocolate and candies. Let's see what I bought for my sister. Four milk chocolate 1.5 ounce bunnies. 3 bags of jelly beans. One bag of chocolate eggs. One bag of peanut butter stuffed eggs. Four Reece's peanut butter eggs. And a bag of sugar coated orange slices. Total cost was over $40. But it is worth it, my sister is good to me.

Hopefully she paces out this large haul she is receiving from me. Otherwise she will go into sugar shock. I do not want that to happen to her. I am looking forward to Easter. 48 years ago I was born on Palm Sunday. My sister, nephew and I are going out to dinner on Easter eve and plan on seeing a movie on Easter day.

That's a lovely tradition to exchange baskets. I bet your sister will enjoy her basket of goodies and so will you. Put some in a baggy in the freezer and take out as a reward treat so you don't get a sugar rush.

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon WOW!! Steven, are you the ideal brother or what?? Let me take this opportunity to wish you and your sister and nephew a very happy Easter this coming Sunday and you a happy birthday. As for the basket, I have a suggestion. You can feel free to give the jelly beans to your sister, and you can give the rest to ME! Isn't that wonderful? This way, we can spare her any danger of sugar shock emoticon

Seriously, as someone with one wonderful brother myself, I can always recognize a great one, and you are very kind and thoughtful. emoticon
