I have learned something about myself: I seem to think that being away from home is a reason to eat off plan. Its not. Its not even necessary. I'm not going on Safari to the jungle. There is a grocery store on every corner. I can always pack a jump rope and a yoga matt. Sheesh. Well. I had to go out of town unexpectedly for the past four days. I did indulge in some Asian Bakery treats
. I don't know that I need to do that kind of thing anymore. I am giving myself a break from weigh ins until May 1. I'm still struggling with edema.
I have felt pressured in the past to eat in social situations, primarily with my Dad. Now, I have persuaded him that I don't have to do that anymore. I also need to persuade and remind myself of that. I will use a meditation to achieve that goal.
Zig (aka focus) days:
4 300 calorie meals/day
Pre WO: 1 tbsp honey, juice of 1/2 a lemon, black pepper 1 1/2 c.
Meal 1: Oatmeal, coconut oil, hard boiled egg
Meal 2: Green Smoothie or juice
Meal 3: Green Smoothie or juice
Meal 4: Pressure cooker, sautee, or stir fry veggies + butter
Zag (2 days):
Zag- Eat off plan
followed by a IF day.
Cardio 45 to 90 min with at least 20 min. at higher intensity
PM: Every other night
Yoga alternate with Tai Chi or Belly Dancing before bed
oil: helps with satiety.
Gymnema Sylvestre: for my cellulitis infection
Billberrry: for my edema. Its an experiment. It works on tiny capilleries in the eye and the bladder, I thought it might work on my edema by repairing the return lymph system. Just a wild idea on my part.
