Alright... I feel like my motivation is back. I walked into the locker room this morning after a very short workout (damn traffic) and I felt the need to kick my own @$$ in a workout. So, I have decided to go ahead and make big goals for April. What's the worst that could happen? I don't meet any of them? Well, I did that this month and it didn't kill me!
So.......... My mind has not been made up, but the things I have swirling through my head are:
Back to my Female Body Breakthrough workouts. I'd restart phase 2 and that would go the duration of the month on M, W, F. I'm thinking I'll either do the circuit training she has in the book on T, Th or continue with doing HIIT - probably on the step mill rather than treadmill to save my feet for the race. Training for the race would be minimal with only 1 running day each week - Saturdays. I only have 3 Saturdays before the race, not counting the day before the race. This means that this Saturday I'll have to do a 5 or 6 mile run. I'd like to do 8 miles before race day... probably on April 6 so that my feet have time to recover if they end up bothering me.
Somehow I also want to work in at least the 100 push-ups challenge (hundredpushups.com). They also have 200 squats and 200 crunches, which I would also like to do. Question is, do I do that AND my FBB workouts?? I kind of want to do all 3 at once, so will that be too much with the FBB? Since I can do the 3 challenges at home I could do FBB in the mornings and the challenges at night... or I don't know. Just thinking out loud!
So, this is what I am thinking about and now my tummy is grumbling because it's lunch time. I hope everyone is having a GREAT Wednesday!
