Went Shopping and Now, I Need a Nap

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

I feel like I did my mom duty; we went shopping for three hours, but I only counted two hours. (You know what, I'm going to count all three.) I made sure I pushed the cart or stroller. Now that we're home, I am supposed to clean, but I'm still recovering, and my body is adjusting. My wonderful husband has promised that he will clean the house, so I can take an hour nap. I'm doing all the cooking for the little tykes. I'm making pizzas from scratch and cupcakes from the box.

I guess I'll help with the clean up. Or pass out afterward.

The highlight today was that I bought my son all the Easter basket stuff at the dollar store. With all the emotional crap, I totally forgot Easter was coming. I bought a packet of lamb chops and will have vegetables on Sunday. Semi-healthy and low stress. I don't feel like having a big meal. Plus, it's just going to be us three and the dog (who will not get a lamb chop).

We've been dealing with a lot of ups and downs these last few months, and all in all, we are doing O.K. I'm binging on Netflix, instead of food, not that I'm really a binger. I logged most days, and find that it's not so awful. The days I haven't been logging have been under. OK, on to my nap, or I will not wake up on time.

Hope you are having a great day!

You and your husband are truly a good team. You are going to be ok in time, I know it. I You are doing what you need to do, but also taking the time you need to heal (when you can). emoticon

Do the nap, or even help clean and count at least two and maybe three hours shopping. Don't forget to do yoga too
