sorry this just spoke to me today.

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

The Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard once said, “Either we are contemporaries of Jesus, or we can have nothing at all to do with it.” Following the Church year in faith makes us indeed contemporaries of Jesus. Not because we can imagine ourselves so precisely as part of his time and his life, but rather because he comes into my time and my life, if I make room for him in this way, with his healing and forgiving presence, with the explosive force of his Resurrection.

I doubt if everyone will feel the need I have for following Jesus's message but I must be true to the small voice calling me from the wilderness.
I am resolved to be a better human today and to be a good human..

Definitely no need to apologize. That is a beautiful message. Thank you for sharing it. I love that I have found myself back into the fold of the Catholic faith and that I am currently following the Church year. I am really looking forward to going to Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Saturday vigil.

No need to apologize, I loved the message today, I believe my faith got even stronger when my Dad passed away last year, and it's what's held my head above water after losing so many others during that same year (15), only one to natural causes.

Life is hard enough, I could never imagine it without God there in my life, I'm so thankful for His love, His forgiveness, and His encouragement, or what I see as encouragement, in every step of my life.

Thank you again, for sharing, I really enjoyed this, it brought a smile to my lips today. emoticon
