Pink eye, PMS and boredom

Molly has double pink eye.
I've got PMS, stupid PMS.
And I'm bored.

The last two things are not great for my nutrition.

Yesterday I went over my ranges by quite a lot. I ran some errands mid day and was hungry so I took myself out to eat, I had a wrap with hummus and avocado, I recorded it and was a bit surprised that it was so high in calories (250 calories for a tortilla wrap??). But decided I would eat a light dinner since I had my heavier meal mid day.
But then I picked up Molly, knew the pink eye was coming, so I ran out to get her treatment and hubs was working late then running to the bowling ally, so I needed a quick dinner and I grabbed pizza. I could have still eaten my salad for dinner, it was already made, but I didn't. Oops.

    emoticon emoticon Sometimes - life does get in the way - we are not perfect ! Sorry about Molly :(, hope she's better soon - Forgive yourself and move forward - Avocado 's are high calories but also high in good fat and protein Oh BTW - I had Pizza last night !!! Hugs Karen emoticon

    Maybe going over will help. Sometimes a carb overload kicks your body into gear.

    I just got over my first case of pink eye (that I can remember, I'm sure I had it as a kid and just don't remember it) a few days back. It only hurts the first couple of days. After that its just REALLY annoying!
As for the avocado, sometimes you gotta sacrifice some calories for something healthyand very yummy! And who doesn't give in to a little pizza every now and then? We can't stay "on task" 100% of the time or we'd all go crazy! Just jump back on the bandwagon - as the saying goes! Don't hold onto guilt over a few extra calories or you'll gain internal emotional drama instead of weight!
Keep your sanity and your sense of humour! Otherwise this weight loss journey is going to be utterly miserable.

    Life gets in the way, and sometimes grabbing a pizza makes things easier. Sometimes I do that for my kids and husband and fix myself something quick and healthy, like some eggs and toast, or fruit and yogurt, etc. Today is a new day!

I know this sounds cliche, but exercise helps with PMS. Sorry to hear about the baby and her pink eye! I hope it doesn't hurt! I've never experienced that myself or with my kids.

Hang in there, you can do this!
