Forgiveness is good for our health. We forgive ourselves and others and we have less stress.....less emotional eating. Sometimes forgiving ourselves is harder than forgiving others. I browbeat myself when I slip and have a bad eating day or don't exercise and say oh what's the use! But when a friend slips , I put my arm around him or her and say. it's only one time and one day, or whatever and encourage them onward and upward. This Easter I am taking some time for reflection and unloading a lot of junk I have been carrying around inside me while I observe my Holy Day and let spring renewal into my soul.
