I ended up taking 2 days off of exercise. Monday I was heading to my car to hit water aerobics and a dance class and I was running late. I sat in my car and thought "Ok this just seems obsessive, go back inside!" So I did and spent the night with Scott instead on the couch watching our newest obsession. Then I took off yesterday too and we cleaned the house, which we had been avoiding. Getting off your butt to do it is hard. But the result is sooooo nice! Plus my MIL is coming to watch our dogs this weekend.... But yes a clean house makes me super happy!
Our 9 inches of snow we got is melting very rapidly!!! Supposedly we are gonna be in the 50's by Friday! I am so excited! That little taste of spring we had last saturday was so nice. Getting back on the bike again. Seeing how much groceries I can fit in my panier on bike runs to the grocery store. Opening the windows! Not having cracked and bleeding knuckles and lips, PLEASE!!! lol
I finally finished my Sugar Salt Fat book. The end was really good, he basically said I gave you all this info, now it's up to u to make the right choices. Last night Scott and I for some reason thought KFC sounded really good. For 15 bucks you get 8 pieces of deep friend chicken, 4 biscuits, a big container of mashed potatoes, corn and even more guilt! In the book they have a word for ppl who drink a lot of soda and make the companies a lot of money, they are called "Heavy users". Being handed that huge bag of KFC made me feel like a heavy user. I think I was more excited about the lard filled biscuits, I broke out my local honey and indulged. I just ate 1 breast which was 380 calories all by it's lonesome. We have dinner for tonight now too. As long as we didn't pig out and eat the whole 8 piece meal in 1 sitting and feel like we wanted to die, it's ok sometimes. I remember when I was at my heaviest there was a KFC by our old place. Every Tuesday they had plate meals there for like 3 bucks, so I would stop there and pick up dinner on my way home from class. One time the manager spotted me thru the window and thought he knew me and was all excited about it. Every fat girls nightmare, That was the end of me going on a regular basis! Thank you manager you probably saved me from having diabetes at 24.
