I haven't blogged in a while so I figure I'll just start typing and see what comes out. I had an emotional week last week, but didn't turn to food emoticon

I should have planned my weekend better, I ate out practically EVERY meal. I could give you my excuses, but I'll spare you the gory details! I did try to make good choices when I ate out, but still. I'm putting it behind me now and started Monday with good choices and meal planning for the week.

I made a new recipe - chicken lettuce wraps that was awesome. I didn't think my family would like them so I made sloppy joes too, and they ate all my lettuce wraps! I'm glad, but I was also bummed because it was supposed to be my lunch for the week. Here is a link to the recipe. recipes.sparkpeople.com/

It has a ton of protein and very little carbs and is quick and easy to make. Try it!!

My 4 Weeks to Fabulous class was kick-ass last night. I used that big rope like they have on biggest loser....whew what a workout! Even my hands hurt today.

I'm a little bummed that I didn't lose any weight this week, but I chalk it up to poor planning for the weekend, and maybe some muscle from all the strength training this week. I'm NOT giving up, I will work harder this week!

I need to plan my runs a little better too, and actually put them in my calendar. Considering I haven't run in a week! Ugh, and as soon as I get some $$ I'm signing up for some 5Ks, that'll help kick my butt in gear.

    We all have 'days' like that. I just had that a few weekends ago. My DH and I got friends to watch our children and we went away for the weekend. We ate out ALL of our meals too. I gained weight, but I didnt really care because I knew I would get it off again. I havent stepped on the scale since, but my clothes tell me I am still right on track. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Keep pushing and planning, it's the keys to the basics, as you know.
Good luck on your 5k's and on your workouts, sound like the call you took was intense and well worth the effort you put into it.
