so, before i commence with a photo, which is what i know everyone is waiting for, some things:
the trip began pretty badly with the airline losing our ONLY BAG other than my garment bag with my dress and his with his suit. everything was in that bag.. a weeks worth of clothes for both of us, both of our personal items such as shampoo, etc. all of our shoes, including my wedding heels and wedding corset and slip... his pills that he NEEDS daily.
it got to us after 11am and we had until 3 to board the ship. by that time, we already had a plan because the airline was less than helpful incase it didnt get to us.
and instead of spending the morning watching the sunrise on the oceanfront hotel the fiance booked for us, we got to see the airport again and i saw the outside of a cvs for a half an hour while he got his pills and the essentials.
our bag did make it to us, thankfully.
but that meant to me that in order to successfully meet my new year resolution, i would have to make up gym time.
my resolution was to work out every day while gone.
so, monday morning and indeed, every morning while gone, i was up at 6 am and worked out for at least an hour. two days i did an hour and a half, which made up for the hour i missed on sunday. and one day i did two hours just because.
the morning of the wedding, i worked out for an hour and a half to ensure i was feeling good.
we got back here on sunday after a fiasco at the airline of them changing our flight to be an hour EARLIER than scheduled and we thought we werent going to make it, and then get there to find out it was delayed two hours.
and then confusion as to whether or not our bags would be on the flight with us or not, as there was a chance they were going to hawaii.
so, after all of that..........
the food on the cruise. well, to begin, we left here saturday because we were supposed to have a nice evening on the ocean front hotel and that just didnt work what with everything about the bag.
couldnt sit outside because i didnt have extra clothing and was freezing.
so saturday was all eating out. i did exceptionally well.
ordered a salad which was honestly my only option on the menu anyways. and at the hotel, i had a veggie burger and got fruit instead of fries.
and only ate half of the burger.
on the cruise, it was obviously all you can eat, all the time....
our room was very close to a pizza and ice cream bar.
my two most favorite foods.
but i wanted to feel good on the wedding and so often, i dont when i eat what i want.
i opted for very small portions and vegetables and fruit.
i left the house on saturday march 17th at 147 pounds.
i came home sunday march 24th and monday morning, i weighed in at 150 pounds.
more than i could have asked for.
today i am back to 148.
wedding: married by the ship captain in the middle of the ocean, just the fiance and i.
