. . . . And this too shall pass.

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

Good Morning!
Yesterday was a trial. DS#4 decided to raise up his rebellious head and do his own thing. It didn't work out too well for him. There are consequences for actions. Today, we will continue to deal with the those consequences. Life us up and down; full of hills and valleys. When we go through the trials, we don't walk alone, God is with us. We can learn from our mistakes; we can go stronger from them. Even though it is not me who is choosing to rebel, God is using the situation to grow me in my faith and help me to react and live in a manner that glorifies Him. So, as we ride the rapids with our children, we keep our eyes on the horizon, because we know we can make it through to the calm waters and have smooth sailing!

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Depending on how old DS#4 is and what the consequences are should guide you as a parent on how much to help. I do not giving what is sometimes termed "tough love" but I know that it can be a great teacher. You are certainly spot on in letting Him guide you.
Blessings and prayers.

Being a mother takes you on paths sometimes that are difficult but to have a heavenly father that sees us through those times is wonderful. We may not always have the strength to face those challenges but those are the times that he carries us. God Bless you!

Amazingly, I learned more about God and about my relationship with Him when I became a mother. Such lessons are sometimes painful. I am so thankful for a forgiving Father! Have a blessed Easter!
