I was just finishing up my chin ups (4 unassisted, 2 with the band) when a guy said to me, "You might be better off on the assisted chin up machine, over there", and points to the machine area.
WTF?! First of all, I had just done 4 PERFECT unassisted chin ups. Second of all, mind your own bees wax. So I said, " Don't insult me. I just can do chin ups all by myself, so I'll stay over here with the big kids", and walked away. Then I told my trainer who laughed and said that he probably couldn't do one and was jealous.
I mean, seriously. I can do military push ups, chin ups, I'm 10kg away from squatting my own body weight, I'm deadlifting half of my body weight (and I did all of these things except for the push ups in full view of this guy). Don't try and tell me how to do my workout because I'm obviously doing just fine as I am.
Moral of the story: Do your own workout and leave me the heck alone!
