On Sunday my wonderful boyfriend proposed to me! I said yes and after some crying and laughing and holding one another he said "Now we have to get in shape to fit in our wedding clothes." And he is RIGHT!

We don't have an exact date yet, but I know that we are getting married in Arizona. We both grew up in Phoenix and it just makes the most sense. That means that due to the heat we won't be getting married for at least six months. So I know I have six months to drop some fat. I think I can do at least 25, perhaps 30 if I really put my mind and body to it. Deadlines and goals are really motivating to me, as is having to wear a white dress in front of 100 people. I know that the weight loss and weight training will happen. It has already started!

I'm just so happy right now!! It is nice to dwell in the happiness!

Cangratulations to you both. What an exciting time. Having recently been married, my advice would be by a dress a size larger that you think you need. It is far eaiser to have it taken in than let out. I was fine, however a dear friend who was married a month after me, did not heed the advice and it was stressful for her.
Glad to hear you are both making the choice to become the best version of yourselves together.
Blessings on your journey

Good for both of you. Thinking about healthy diet and exercise early in a committed relationship can mean that over weight can be nipped in the bud, Congrats
