I am on track!! I ran yesterday, beginning w1d1 of c25k. It went really well!
Today I did HIIT on the stationary bike (15 sec fast, 60 slow, repeat 11 times+warmup and cooldown), followed by a good, deep stretch and some icing. I felt soo good this afternoon that I decided to do a bit of strength training too (only a bit.. because I need to make sure I can still run tomorrow).
The momentum is picking up and I am feeling invincible ;) Eating healthier is so much easier, too... I am eating for health, and for fuel... and simple foods taste better. I need to remember how amazing it feels to be consistent with my workouts... I never want to fall back into that depressive slump.
I re-discovered my old friend, the Garmin Forerunner. I had to reinstall the software and set everything up, but now I am ready for outdoor runs (weather permitting).. I can't wait to be able to see my splits and set some pace goals for myself.
