a fresh start on my running

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

i started my running again. it has only been about 2 weeks since i ran but i need to be more dedicated to it. i want it be a passion.

i tried starting at wk 6 day 3, which is where i stopped 2 weeks ago. i didnt do too bad, but my speed was slower. it was a 22 min run. i had to walk in the middle of it for a few min.

i guess all in all, that is not too bad. i think i will stay there until i am stronger/

i am concentrating on fueling my body better. this will def help me in my journey.

all i need is some sunshine and warm weather in nothern ohio so i can go outside to run...

I just took up running a few weeks ago and I like the challenge but I am not sure at this point if I will ever be passionate about it. We will see in time.
Great job in starting up again.

One of the things I find motivating is to set a time or distance goal and work toward that,

Congratulations on getting started again! Northern Ohio can be tough in the winter (I know because I grew up in the Cleveland area.) But stick with it - spring will be here before you know it!

yes, making it a healthy habit - a passion even - takes consistent effort, doesn't it! I'm quite new to running (about 9 weeks now I think) and I love it when I do it, but find I get days when I don't feel like it - and then that becomes two or three days - then when I get out there again - I love it! At least the cool weather is comfortable to run in :D
