I always start Holy Week out with my husban at Seder- and last night was a wonderful time with some very valued Jewish Friends. We celebrated the freedom of Jews who left slavery in Egypt and opened their eyes to a new relationship with God in the desert. It is always wonderful to celebrate people who get closer to God.
The dinner however is a challenge- salt is part of the ceremonial foods, and many are from cooking in years where calories were not an isse... but I dd ok- still went over my calories limit, but I focused on baked chicken and brussel sprouts- asparagus... and fruit for dessert...
Today is a new day- lover body workout and I am making soup to fill me up and help me get my claories in range.
