Not Losing but Still Going

As the title suggests, it's been a while since I've lost a pound; in fact, I've actually gained a pound or so back :(

But I'm not getting down about it. I have much to look forward to this spring and summer. A friend suggested I offer a summer yoga class in the community, and the plans for that is underway. I'm nervous and excited about it (I think I'll get with my friend, ValerieMaha, to come up with some series of poses to start me off)!
Also, there is Anam Thubten coming up in April; he's coming to Little Rock then to offer a meditation retreat. While I'm not sure how long I can actually sit (my sitting practice hit a big wall when I got the "jimmy-leg" from the medication I'm on; it seems to be much better now, but still--I haven't sat for very long at a time in a long time), I'm looking forward to hearing his talks that weekend. He's a soothing light in a dark place.

    Glad to hear you're not getting down about it. I often go up and down 3-5 pounds even when I weigh at the same time of day, so we all fluctuate.

Remember, it's a lifelong journey. One step at a time.

  oh yeah..don't let yourself get down on gaining back a pound or so.... I know.. easier said than done but... you are doing fine.... don't give up!! can't tell you how many times I've lost and regained the same darn pound! oy! hang in there!

    It's hard to stay positive when the scale is not moving downward, sounds like you have a plan of attack. Good luck with your yoga class.
