As the title suggests, it's been a while since I've lost a pound; in fact, I've actually gained a pound or so back :(
But I'm not getting down about it. I have much to look forward to this spring and summer. A friend suggested I offer a summer yoga class in the community, and the plans for that is underway. I'm nervous and excited about it (I think I'll get with my friend, ValerieMaha, to come up with some series of poses to start me off)!
Also, there is Anam Thubten coming up in April; he's coming to Little Rock then to offer a meditation retreat. While I'm not sure how long I can actually sit (my sitting practice hit a big wall when I got the "jimmy-leg" from the medication I'm on; it seems to be much better now, but still--I haven't sat for very long at a time in a long time), I'm looking forward to hearing his talks that weekend. He's a soothing light in a dark place.
