60 pounds lost - You can do it too!

Today I stepped on the scale and realized that I am down 60 pounds since starting Spark People in September. If you had told me in September that I would stick with something this long I would have laughed. In fact, when people started noticing my weight loss I told them, "Don't worry, I will probably shoving ho-hos in my mouth tomorrow." Well, I didn't. - I wasn't perfect every day, but I have tried to stick to my calorie goals (I think of them like a checkbook and I can't be overdrawn at the end of the day) and I focus on at least ten minutes of exercise each day...and now, I am almost at my half way point. The fairy on my ticker is moving! I remember thinking, "Gosh, this thing is never going to move!" But IT DID! I'm sharing this story, not to brag, but as encouragement to all of you that started with me. I would love to hear any success stories so far! I realize we might not all be in the same boat -and that's ok. I just want to encourage all of you through this journey. If I can do it, so can you!
