FROM HIS GLORIOUS RICHES
We canít handle money how God wants us to without knowing Him. God give us what we need and He wants to show us how to best use it. When we decide to use money the way we believe it should be used, God isnít going to supply all our needs from His glorious riches. He has a plan. He has a program. He has a direction for us to go and we can find His will when we decide to spend time with Him. Yes, spending time with God will help us to know how to better manage our time and money.
Philippians 4:19 ďAnd this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.Ē (NLT)
Dear Lord, we thank You for the promises You give us. We know that You always deliver on Your promises. Help us today, Lord, to acknowledge You in all we do. Help us to spend time with You on our knees. Help us to read and understand Your word. Show us today, Lord, how to best use our time and money to serve You and help others. We want to live for You so You can take care of us. We give ourselves completely to You today. In Jesusí name. Amen.
God is willing and able to show us how to better handle our money. He is ready and waiting for us to go to Him for direction.
Rather than spending money to learn about how to spend money, go to God. He has all the answers.
When we decide to stop looking in all the wrong places for what we need, we can turn to the only real solution to what we need. We can turn to God.
What better promise than to have all we need from Godís glorious riches?
Ephesians 3:6 ďAnd this is Godís plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by Godís children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.Ē (NLT)
Colossians 1:27 ďFor God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.Ē (NLT)
