I've been having trouble with midday snacking recently, so I tried a new strategy today - eating more protein at breakfast. I could have done eggs or whatever, but I went full-on meat and had a gyro-seasoned chicken burger for breakfast. :) Complete with ketchup and Greek yogurt and cheese and spinach and tomato. It was tasty. :)

And I thiiiink it helped! My snacking wasn't nearly as out of control as it has been. I'll have to try another high-protein breakfast tomorrow. Maybe eggs this time. :) Maybe an egg salad sandwich!

Anyways, hopefully this strategy will continue to work, because it is NO FUN to feel so out of control and so bloated by like 4pm and then not have enough calories (not to mention stomach room) left for any kind of real dinner.

A great snack: apple and peanut butter! Gives you some fibre, some protein, just enough to tide you over to next meal time!
