I am going to share my many goals... I am learning a lot from Chris (founder of SparkPeople) from the Free Trial for Spark Coach and his book The Spark... His writing and videos make so much sense in regards to setting and reaching goals... Not just in our journey to be healthier (I avoid the term lose weight instead choosing living healthier because it is NOT about losing weight or how much you lose, it is about being as healthy as you can be as yourself without comparison to others) people but in all areas of life... I recently read an editorial about weight loss surgery... How the person who under went the operation realized that she had to change things in her life in the way of feeling, thinking, just plain living... Magically becoming thin did not solve her problems... In some ways it only made them larger... That is another entry for another day...
I will start with listing my Top 8 Goals and I will "unpack" first 4 tomorrow (next 4 the following day) explaining what I am doing to reach each of these goals... How I am succeeding and struggling which ever the case may be...
Goal 1: Walk 5,000 Steps Per Day
Goal 2: Burn 2,225 Calories Per Day
Goal 3: Consume Between 1200 and 1225 Calories (at least during Lent will increase a bit after Easter) Per Day
Goal 4: Climb 10 Floors Per Day
Goal 5: Drink 8 - 8 oz Glasses Of Water Per Day
Goal 6: Walk 17 Miles Per Week (includes daily activity walking not planned walking separate from running errands, and life in general)
Goal 7: Lose 50+ Pounds
Goal 8: Sleep 7-8 Hours Per Night
