I got up early this morning (7:30am) and promptly had breakfast and got dressed. I then got ready and headed to Grandma's....where I did 40 minutes of exercise. Actual exercise. Not just slowly walking a dog around the park. I did 15 minutes on the bike and then 25 minutes on the treadmill. And oh boy, am I ever out of shape. I know it will come back, but I have fallen so far off the exercise horse. It's just awful. At least today I made steps towards getting back on. :D I also went for a 50 minute walk with SEPTEMBERSPIRIT this evening. It's so nice that there's daylight in the evenings now.
My eating today was also excellent. Since I'm trying to get back to following Canada's Food Guide, here's a quick check to see how I did.
Freggies: 6 (oops need 7)
Milk/Alternatives: 2 (nailed it)
Meat/Alternatives: 1 (oops need 2)
Grains: 4 (I should have 6, but for weight loss purposes, I'm adjusting down to 4)
I'm optimistic that I can keep this up tomorrow.
