Sometimes my tastebuds like to rule. They play Team Tag with my Cravings. It's such a tough battle to win. Two against one. That is just So WRONG.
It feels Like I am being held Hostage by my tastebuds and cravings? Which will Win?
Ever Crave Sugar?
Only to have it trigger a Salt Craving?
Which leads to Pepsi Craving?
And then a Pizza Craving?
Followed by a Chocolate Craving?
Well there are reasons we crave foods. It seems they manufacture foods to trick our brain into wanting them. Like Cocaine or some other heavy addiction. Yikes. Those MEANIES (&(&(*&%^%.
Every have those days you feel like your being held HOSTAGE by your tastebuds and cravings?
No one comes to pay the RANSOM?
I found a TRICK to spank my tastebuds, discipline them into being on my team.
It's really easy to do. It just requires a JUICER.
I use the Sampson Juicer when I want to juice Wheat Grass and make just a couple of quarts of juice to last the day.
My all time favorite juice tastes like a Tropical Suprise !
Pineapple, apples, red grapes, bell pepper, 4 handfuls of spinach and wheat grass juice. It has a sweet tropical taste. There is no way I would eat as many portions of fruits and vegies cooked or fresh if it wasn't for juicing.
When I want to make a lot for my husband and I, I use the Breville Juicer as it is faster. It doesnt' make wheat grass juice though, but it eats apples whole.
My most frequent juice we drink is: Carrots, beets, parsley, cilantro, garlic, ginger, carrots, apples, bell pepper juice.
When I drink juice it takes away the cravings for all the junk food.
It can be made in so many different flavors.
Another good combo, that replaces my lemonaide is:
Apples, lemon, and spinach or wheat grass. The apples are sweet and a slice of fresh lemon makes it taste like lemonaide. No bad ingredients in it.
FYI Brussel Sprout juice taste bad, REAL BAD, Nasty. Don't do it. Same thing for cabbage, I know they say it's good, but I don't like it juiced.
When I drink juice, which I have for about 4 months - I feel perkier. It gives me energy. It makes my head feel clearer.
Just saying if you want to beat those cravings - Try Juicing !!!
I would rather give in to JUICING than a bad, out-of-control horriendous, break you diet bing craving party.
