and that makes 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I have been pretty faithful to the South Beach recipes but not extreme or perfect. Dr. Beck doesn't use the word cheating so I won't either. I do have some planned days where I allow myself to go off of the South Beach but it is not a day of just eat whatever and whenever I want. I still watch portion size and using the other tips I got from the Beck program. Good combination - South Beach and Dr. Beck.
I was at the gym today and I did work myself hard - I almost had to crawl back to the locker room but it feels good (once you know you're going to live)!. I did watch a lot of people at the gym and there really are about two types. Those that get after it and really work and the others like I used to be that are going through the motions but not really pushing themselves.
I know I can push harder and I will get into a step class of something that makes me work.
I'm going to succeed this time - I can just feel it.
