Another 4 pounds!!

and that makes 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I have been pretty faithful to the South Beach recipes but not extreme or perfect. Dr. Beck doesn't use the word cheating so I won't either. I do have some planned days where I allow myself to go off of the South Beach but it is not a day of just eat whatever and whenever I want. I still watch portion size and using the other tips I got from the Beck program. Good combination - South Beach and Dr. Beck.

I was at the gym today and I did work myself hard - I almost had to crawl back to the locker room but it feels good (once you know you're going to live)!. I did watch a lot of people at the gym and there really are about two types. Those that get after it and really work and the others like I used to be that are going through the motions but not really pushing themselves.

I know I can push harder and I will get into a step class of something that makes me work.

I'm going to succeed this time - I can just feel it.

    Wow, 15 pounds in 3 weeks!!!! If I'm D*MN near perfect I'll lose 15 pounds in THREE MONTHS!! emoticon Congratulations!!!!

I love your assertion that you are NOT one of the others at the gym "going through the motions..."

No, you are NOT one of those people anymore! I'm down to 151, just 1/2 pound over my all-time low, but TC says I'm getting smaller, so that's the main thing. No one sees the number on the scale, but EVERYONE sees my smaller body! That's the benefit of working so hard at the gym.
