So I made it over 30 days I think it was 35 good days. I would say I had 30 real good days there. The other where just okay days...
It ended yesterday. I had a few drinks with the hubby : ) Didn't even try to resist his invitation. I totally gave in and enjoyed a few extras with it as well.
Started over this morning. I got a nice long run/walk outdoors by myself for a change lol! Left the big heavy stroller and the little guy with my sister. If felt great. The sun was out and I kept the headphones off too. Just me and my thoughts and the sound of the birds.
I managed to get a 16hr fast in before even feeling hungry so that should help bring the extra bloat on top of bloat down! Have drank a whole gal of distilled water so far today as well!
I am sure my calories will be very low today eating "what feels right" just because I over ate so much yesterday... Not low enough I am sure to balance out the day. But it is what it is.
My weight this am was 126.6 no where near what I was expecting to see these first days of spring. I know most of it is bloat. But still. I thought I was "in progress mode"???...
Well. No use in beating myself up. I had fun.
Now I just have to get my focus back and take this tracing to the next level by having more consistent numbers. I think it would be good if I could make myself stay somewhere between 1800-2200 most days. And making sure I keep a good eye on my total carbs during the week. I have gotten better and am having more grain free days lately. At least way more than in Jan. So now if I can just make sure I limit my fruit on my grain free days I know I will be able to lower my total carbs well under 40%.
So that is the goal. From now until the day of the 12k I am signed up to do with my new spark friend, I will be aiming meet these goals
1-100% clean sugar alcohol free 6days a week (Sunday optional cheat meal)
2-stay close to range of 1800-2200
3-limit grains and fruit to get total carbs under 40% most days.
Hopefully most of the bloat will be gone by Sat so I can check my body fat to get numbers for March! I am feeling good about my over all progress this year though. Even with this recent gain. It is always surprising to me just how much there is to learn in this journey.
I have my eye on the prize! Aside from my goal of getting back under 20% body fat my main goal for the year is to gain more muscle. I am hoping I will see a number closer to (if not the more than) 100 pounds lean mass by summer!
I have never even maintained much above 90 pounds until last year. That in the last 10 plus years I have been "trying" on and off to gain. (Trying not really knowing what I was doing right or wrong then putting it on hold while pregnant.) So this is very exiting for me. I will definitely be celebrating that goal lol! Don't know exactly how yet but I will celebrate it.
