Good bad and ugly

So I was good on Friday until I got a headache Friday afternoon then it got ugly. I went home and was in bed from Friday at 5:15 until Saturday aroung 6 p.m. With having neuro issues I was not sure whether the headache was coming from that or from my sinus'. Here in VA it is 70 degreees one day and the next it is snowing. It can not decide what season it wants to be so my sinus' can't decide if they are happy or not. Because of my headache I did not exercise all weekend. I also fell into the habit of snacking on girl scout cookies. Needless to say I went over in my calories every day this weekend with mindless I feel sorry for myself snacks. Thankfully my head is feeling better and I got up this morning and I did 33 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes of cardio circut training. Want to try and get some extra minutes in over the next 4 days to make up for the girl scout cookies. But I will not be surprised it the scale does not move this week.

I did however welcome the tired muscles. It felt good to do my strength training. My daughter told me when I was working out this morning she could see me getting skinner. I wished it did work that fast, that I could melt inches right in front of her eyes. ha ha! Sadly it does not. I would like to lose another 1.5 inches by Easter to make 5 inches lost but I will be happy with any loss this week.

I went out yesterday and purchased new workout clothes. I bought 5 sports bras, 2 shirts and 2 pairs of workout capris. I wore one of the bras this morning and needless to say it was not built for triple D's. Luckily I only got one like that one because is was cute. So much for cute I need support. ha ha! Hopefully the others will be good. The ones I had work great but I needed more because of working out so much. I also sometimes wear 2 at a time because I do not want anything moving when running other than my legs. ha ha

Well I am happy it is Monday. I have done excellent on food today and I hope I can get another 1/2 hour in tonight.

    Look at eating the cookies this way, you won't do it again right away because you are working too hard to "un-do" it. In the past you probably would not have felt so bad....so you are changing as well as losing. Good Job....hang in there.

    Sorry you were stuck with a headache. I can usually tell the difference as if it is sinus, if I bend over, I feel like my brains are going to fall out-lol! Way to go on the exercise today!

    I like your idea of doing extra fitness minutes over the next few days to account for the snacking. Cute comment from your daughter, got to love them. Hope your week goes better.

    Dont beat yourself up we all have bad days and somtimes after eating good for a long time a little splurge is a good shock to the system you may be surprised to see what the scale says. I didnt do so great this weekend either but like you I am using it as my motivation to kick butt this week. emoticon
