Day Fifteen: Back to normal
Sunday, March 24, 2013
My DH has been home from work since October, recovering from knee surgery. Between that, becoming custodial grandparents to an 8-yr old, and providing childcare for a baby--free time, privacy and peace & quiet have been rare treats.
DH is returning to work tomorrow, which will afford me some privacy (and control of the TV) while my grand daughter is in school and he's at work. I've basically had no "alone time" for 6 months and it's made me cuckoo for cocopuffs--literally! LOL
It should be easier to develop a routine with my DDP Yoga DVDs now and just have some quiet time some days--something that I really need that's been lacking. I love my family but the past few months have been overwhelming.
My son and grandson returned to Tennessee today, so a nice calm has settled over the house. Jeff and I took the kids and the dog to the boardwalk today to let the kids feed the seagulls. Then we took a brief walk and took them to the park. So I was active all day, something I wouldn't have been capable of just a few weeks ago.
