Hi all! This may not be my first blog ever (I used to have a blog on Blogger, however I am really bad about blogging every day), but it is my first entry on Spark People! Woohoo!
I started Spark People about a month and a half ago. It's definitely been a huge help on my lifestyle change, and it makes it easier to log what I eat, my exercise, and connect with others who want to be healthy and lose weight like me!
Today, I swam laps for my cardio. It is a huge blessing that I joined a gym that has a pool. I have somewhat bad knees, so not having to do cardio on land is great! My goal with swimming is to eventually be able to swim a mile in my workout. Today I reached 1300 meters, which is almost there!
I also made a new dish for dinner. I made the Slow Cooker Creamy Italian chicken, and it is taking every bit of will power to not have a second helping! It's good, and I made it even better by adding broccoli to the crockpot at the end. It uses cream of chicken soup and cream cheese, but I used Healthy Request (which oddly, was better nutritionally than the 98% fat free) and a whipped cream cheese. It turned out to be around 252 calories per serving without the broccoli!
