food journal?

I thought of doing this a few times but never followed through. I'm starting a notebook to list what I eat and how it makes me feel like if it makes me crave other things, if it really satisfies, etc. I should also note how I'm feeling and how that effects how I eat too, although most everything makes me want to eat, happy, sad, depressed, excited, yada, yada, yada. lol

I already take note of what I eat and how many calories (when I'm being "good" anyway) as that just works for me, and that is how I like to do it. :)

    I haven't used it in awhile, but had some success with the journal on here as it is so easy to calculate calories. The tools are there.

    I rip out some but keep some. I try to keep the weights and the actual "journal" type areas where I write about things I'm going through etc. blah blah blah

    I start out writing then I give up and rip out the pages... just like I give up and delete my good intention blogs... after I get done here... I'm gonna write down today's indulgences so I can get off on a good foot Tuesday emoticon

    I always use my SP tracker, for all of the good, the bad, and the ugly. I do not do well at journaling. I would misplace it constantly, my computer is much easier to spot.

    I have such a hard time with this! I don't know why though?? I think it would be really helpful...I've had people who could look back a LONG time and help determine why they had a sudden weight gain, etc. GOOD LUCK! :-)

    ::sigh:: this was what I was planning to do last week on my Day one... emoticon but now I"m full of pizza, cake, and chocolate again... another birthday celebration... last one until June, I hope! Except next week is Easter!

    I think that is a very good idea. I have thought about doing it myself. If I eat something that makes me feel bad I usually tell my hubby "remind me not to eat that again". LOL! If I just logged my foods and how I felt each day I could just look back and see for myself. I think it would also help with weight loss. If I had a good week and lost some pounds, I could look back and see what I ate that week. If I gained weight, I could adjust my eating.
