feeling defeated

I don't know about anyone else but sometimes I feel defeated and I dont know how to get out of this funk. Well that sometimes is now for me. A year ago I was down 99lbs and doing great then once I got comforable i put on 50 lbs so all the hardwork I had done was a complete waste. I dont know where my motivation is at and more important I dont know how to get it back. I keep telling myself tomorrow or I buy more exercise videos or equipment that just sits. I dont know what to do all I do know is I am not happy and I am done feeling that way. Any advise would be appreciated.

    I have days that I feel defeated. I look at all the good in my life, my kids, my job, stregth to make it through the hard times. If you look at the time that you lost the fifty pounds you can see how strong you are. Sometimes tough stuff will happen, losing a job, car accident, death of a good friend and you hurt, cry etc. Gaining weight at that time does not make you a bad person. We are human. We have to find our happy place again.

I love the picture above. I remember taking one similar with my now 26 year old. Take it day by day. When I was pretty bummed, I wrote down 5 positive things on three by 5. I read it over and over and over. I remembered. I started to do positive things for me.
