I was just reading an article about how it's better to work out less than too much. You tend to work harder on your days you do workout if u take a few off. Rather then u work out with less energy if u workout everyday. I should have taken this tip for myself yesterday. It was such a nice day, 47 degrees and sunny. I met my friend to try rock climbing. She has a membership to a place in town that's only rock climbing and she could bring ppl for free. So I thought "hey why not?You never know what u might like til you try it... ". I think I was a huge disappointment to her. Cuz everything I tried, I kinda freaked out on. I don't really have a fear of heights, I have a fear of falling lol Even strapped in, it was scary. You gotta put thought into twisting your body while grabbing for the next place and stay calm.......no didn't work for me. I was never a climber as a child. Oh well I tried. Then I came back and walked the dogs for about 25 minutes. Then Scott and I set out on a bike ride. I was wondering what would happen with my fitbit on a bike. I left it clipped to my sports bra for some stupid reason. Scott had his on his pants pocket. For a 9.5 mile ride I got 1400 steps lol Scott got like 4000....Something to remember. Oh well probably overdid it yesterday, bum is sore! Been a while since I did a long ride, it was nice to get out. Today we are supposedly getting 5-9 inches of snow. Hopefully this is the last ho-rah! Next week is supposed to be in the high 40's so I am hoping for the best!
I hit a dance class this morning with a teacher that left our gym and was subbing. I totally forgot how much jumping she does. I left with a bright red face. Oh well I like a challenge, she does all pop songs too so it's almost like a different class. She is subbing again tomorrow night.... I promise to take Tuesday off, mark my words!
I am making a big pot of creamy chicken noodle soup again today. I started it before breakfast so it will be done early. Nothing like some comfort food for a snowy day.
