Third Sunday in a row with the scales under 160! Even better, last week I was traveling and still under 160 on the Sunday weigh in. Did a lot of walking, but no workouts. Paid attention to what I was eating in restaurants, but fully enjoyed the meals with family and friends. Result -- weight about steady for the week, and still under the 160 mark. Two strategies that help me: 1) picking low carb choices and 2) realizing that it's hard to avoid huge portions when eating out, so leaving some food behind may be a necessity if there's no way to take it home.

    I agree fully with you. My scale at home has been 158 that last two days (even at night) but I use the gym scale on Tuesdays for my official weigh-in. So excited to be under the 160 mark! I had a similar experience with dining out the other evening too. emoticon
