Need for Speed

Sunday, March 24, 2013

It's true...I like to get where I'm going as quickly as possible-lol. The problem is the" hurrier' I go,the" behinder" I get! Changing our lifestyles takes time & let's face it-patience. Ugh-just not my strong suit.

the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.
an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay: to have patience with a slow learner.
quiet, steady perseverance; even-tempered care; diligence: to work with patience.

Yuppers- I need to focus on patience-

Thanks for dropping by & take a little time to "Slow Down & Feel Groovy"

I have no patience so i'm working on it too. It comes from my dad. My Dad has a poster that says "Patience my butt i'm going to kill something".

That was great Sami. Love Simon and Garfunkle! Great message to leave with us - especially today when everyone tries to get things done before Monday.

I am always angry at myself for not getting enough done every day.......but stopping to smell the flowers is important too!!

I am the same way. What helps for me is celebrating ALL the milestones. lbs lost, nonscale victories...I try to look for them daily. Five pound losses I reward myself for. it makes the journey fun then you're not so focused on BEING at the end, but GETTINg to the end.
