Day one of the stress busting challenge and I am going to try to blog for 28 days on how I am doing.
Day one 24-3-13
I am awake too early but cannot get back to sleep. I need to try, over the next 4 weeks, to get to 8 hours per night.
I am letting work issues get the better of me these days because I am not confident in the change zone and there is tons of change at the moment. I need to get it into perspective and be positive in the knowledge that, at least it means I still have a job and a salary to meet my bills.
Sunday I baked some cakes for others, took a short walk for newspapers, re-organised the freezer, cleaned one car, went to Church, relaxed all afternoon and evening and am ready to sleep at 8.45 pm
25-3-13 Day two has been fine. Started with some bright cheery music and a couple of walks to heat me up when the office heating was not working. Off to read and article then bed with my cd
26-3-13 day 3 started off badly and got worse. Work pained me, I took off noses, I was about to resort to chocolate but wrote on boards instead. Came home and did some housework, copied some discs, read an article and now bed
28/3/13 Day 4 Sorry ran out of time to write anything yesterday to busy with chores after work.
Today very busy with more chores but at least there is the satisfaction of jobs well done. High activity day doesn't leave room for stress to affect the mind.
30-3-13 Busy day at work yesterday. Still managed a wee walk in the snow. Just glad to be able to have the choice to do it. Off out this morning to see how hard life was in the 19th century in the mills by visiting the David Livingstone centre in Blantyre
1-4-13 Busy weekend. Lots done. No time to be stressed
