Cardio recovery my fanny!

Today was a "light day" of Insanity. It was the cardio recovery day. I'll agree it wasn't as intense for cardio, but it really worked muscles!! My hamstrings, abs and triceps are already sore so it will only get more so by morning! emoticon

I had to workout this afternoon since my oldest son had friends spend the night. They were sleeping in the basement, aka. my gym! I realized that I am a much better early morning workout person! I've always been a morning person and I hate how the lactic acid builds in my muscles early in the morning, but I feel like I put more energy and effort into the AM workouts.

So, I'm off to bed so I can get a workout in before church! Have a great Sunday!

    I also like the morning workouts. I like to get them out of the way and I feel like I have started off on a good upswing to my day as well! Let's hope you don't get more sore!

I too prefer doing my workouts in the morning. It makes me more energetic for the day.

    That's what we're doing too...getting up early before church to workout. We do much better early mornings than any other time of day.
