I already do some calorie-cycling, and, it seems that some of the concepts of this diet "fit" with some of the dieting strategies that I've been successful with.
In the 2-day diet, all you need to do is follow a low-carb, low calorie diet for two days a week. For the rest of the week you simply eat normally, but sensibly. In clinical trials, followers of The 2-Day-Diet lost twice as much fat and more centimetres around their waist than those on a continuous calorie-controlled diet.
There's a lot that makes sense to me in that. I wouldn't have to make very many changes to test some of those theories out.
